Iso tool

Iso tool
A (homebrewed?) multipurpose tool intended to be used only in CFW'ed PSPs for a multitude of purposes (EBOOT.BIN Decrypting, Iso patching etc). Imagine my surprise when I found it working in PPSSPP.
Compatibility:- Works flawlessly as of git revision 0.7.6-627
Screenshot attached as proof below. Used it to patch Toukiden Demo's EBOOT.BIN within PPSSPP and it worked without a hitch.
We could potentially use this to decrypt every single one of those troublesome PSP demos and get them to run on PPSSPP.

They won't work on PPSSPP though, exactly the same files that work on a real PSP.

I'm using my PSN version of Dissidia on PPSSPP right now and there is no problem. I use NP Decrypter.

On the PSP, yes, you can, so I imagine with some finagling we can make it work on this.
I can't comment on the steps of how it will be on PPSSPP, but this topic here is what I used to do just that, and I can confirm that the updates work when taking them from the PSP and putting them in PPSSPP: http://wololo.net/talk/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=10622
I think the only issue is having the updater it creates actually do it's job. Without knowing too much about PPSSPP's internet abilities (I have no idea if it even HAS any), I don't know how the updater will do much of anything.

The ISO file format is used to archive the data on CDs and DVDs as images to the hard disk. You can burn an ISO image to a CD or DVD, or you can mount it onto a program that reads ISO files. You can also archive the data on a game CD or DVD into an ISO file, which you can then encrypt to protect it. You can immediately remove the encryption on an ISO game file within Windows.

Right-click the ISO game file and click on “Properties.”

Ps1 Iso On Psp

Click the 'General' tab, followed by the “Advanced” button under the “Attributes” section.

Click on “Encrypt Contents to Secure Data” to remove the check next to it.

Click “OK” to decrypt the ISO game.
