Joint Degree Programs. The Tuck School offers three joint degree programs in health care. The Geisel School of Medicine and the Tuck School of Business offer students an opportunity to pursue combined MD/MBA degrees that can be completed in either five or six years. Our combined degree programs allow you to earn two degrees in less time than it would take to complete them consecutively, through reduced coursework and.

International Applicants

You may apply in any round. The Dartmouth Office of Visa and Immigration Services (OVIS) will assist enrolling students with the U.S. visa process. Consortium for Graduate Study in Management

Tuck is a proud member of the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management. The Consortium has a separate application form and deadlines. You may complete the Consortium application in lieu of the Tuck application. We encourage you, as with all other candidates, to visit the Tuck campus and schedule an applicant-initiated interview.

Reapplicants

You are welcome to apply as a reapplicant. We look favorably upon reapplicants who have strengthened their candidacy across one or more of our four admissions criteria. As a reapplicant, you will submit a new application, essays (including the reapplicant essay), Letters of Reference (LORs), and a nonrefundable application fee. We encourage you to schedule an on-campus interview to articulate your strengthened candidacy. If you applied last year between July and April, we require only one new LOR from a new reference.

Applicants with a Previous MBA

We do not typically admit applicants who have already earned an MBA. If you hold a similar graduate degree that is not an MBA, use the optional essay to explain why you need an MBA in addition to your prior degree. We consider the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from Indian universities to be the equivalent of an MBA and typically do not admit applicants who have earned this degree.

Joint- and Dual-Degree Applicants

Tuck offers several joint- and dual-degree programs. You must apply separately to each school. We will assist admitted students with planning specific curricular details. See our overview of Joint and Dual Degrees for additional information.

Applicants Seeking to Defer

We grant a limited number of one-year deferrals for qualifying joint- and dual-degree study and for exceptional, unforeseen circumstances. You must submit a written request which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Applicants Seeking Funding

Tuck uses discretion in awarding scholarships to incoming students who will significantly contribute to Tuck’s distinctly immersive learning community. We offer scholarships to enroll outstanding students who, absent funding, might not attend the Tuck School. There is no separate application process for Tuck scholarships; you receive consideration for scholarship based on your application materials. Scholarships automatically renew for students who maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout the first year.

Admitted students may also apply for educational loans by the published key financial aid deadlines.
