That is not correct in the sense of the question that you are asking. I have used several international textbooks over the 10 years on and off that I have been going to college. Most of the time the only differences are the cover, the cover picture/color, the ISBN number, and occasionally some of the questions at the end of the chapters were different than the US edition. So if you find the international edition of your book, I would strongly recommend purchasing it. It will save you over half the price of the US edition in most cases.
